Jews and Muslims don't make idols because they obey the 2nd commandment. Christianity is a Greek religion steeped in Western iconography, divorced from it's semetic roots, and so they ignore it. Hope this helps.
I read 2nd commandment as second amendment and got very confused for a second. Now to butcher a Star Trek scene, why does god need a Colt?
You can’t butcher a scene from that abomination. Only improve it.

It’s cliche about the odd numbered original movies being bad… but holy crap is that one awful.
