My parents in their 30s This would make a lovely second home for our family to winter in. Hopefully the garage can fit both our cars, snowmobile and ski equipment.

Me in my 30s I'll never financially recover from this purchase.

Created by bots, posted by bots and reposted by bots.

It’s bots all the way down here.

Reddit loss prevention department is on the case ;)

Funny how you don’t change your language for your alts.

[–] REDACTED@infosec.pub 6 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

Imagine banning people because they use other websites too

[–] time2lose@lemmy.world 0 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 6 hours ago) (1 children)

Oh no, no. That’s not what’s happening.

Those moderators are banning people who complain about Reddit reposts.

Why? Because some of those complaints are part of a deliberate harassment tactic. These people repeatedly target frequent posters and pester moderators, hoping to frustrate the mods enough that they eventually ban the very people keeping their communities active.

It’s a coordinated effort to undermine these communities from within, so I’m glad the moderators are finally taking action against those bad-faith complainants.

It’s your alt banning people.

I think whomever it is -they probably tried to just post normally and got banned many times through those reddit tactics and harrassed into creating own communities.

and now they know this reddit game and wont fall for bs

[–] Septimaeus@infosec.pub 2 points 57 minutes ago

lol “whomever it is -they probably…” It’s you.

  • “Just posting normally”
  • “Harassed/harassment”
  • “Reddit tactics/game”
  • “Create my own community”

These are all key phrases in your comment which “whomever it is” deploys verbatim AND ad nauseum. Gonna need to do better than that if you’re to fool us all.

I dont know them. can only imagine reddit shilling is bothering a lot of good people

It’s damning that you always accuse your critics of being “Reddit agents” contrary to all evidence except that they criticized your undisclosed automated reposting, banning them from communities your alts moderate, deleting their comments, and reporting them for harassment.

Now that you’re using AI to write your comments, you might think no one can trace you across all your botting alts because your characteristic language errors are papered over, but you’re wrong.

In reality, most of your alts are already linked either by your direct admittance (mostly childish threats and impulsive chest-beating) or by accidental persona-hopping in various argument threads.

But even if you hadn’t already repeatedly exposed yourself, and even though you never disclose or mark any of your botting alts, and even if Lemmy weren’t a small town compared to Reddit where this type of abusiveness paid off…

Anyone who looks twice can tell it’s you, so give it a rest. I’m barely paying attention, and these are your alts that I’m aware of so far:@oldmanalex@sh.itjust.works
@NoraLenderbee@lemmy.today
@sanitation@lemmy.today
@Mustachius_Grumpius@thelemmy.club
@Grumpus_Maximus@thelemmy.club
@time2lose@lemmy.world

…et al. Others’ lists, including @SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world’s, are more complete than mine. So quit all this bad faith bullshit.

The funny thing is that people do like your ai powered bot swarm taking popular content from Reddit and moving it to lemmy and if you created communities on instances that people who want organic content can block you’d be popular.

That you don’t just shows you’re trolling.

[–] time2lose@lemmy.world 1 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 6 hours ago) (1 children)

Oh, I know this game. I'm very familiar with these tactics.

  1. First, pressure community moderators into banning frequent posters.
  2. If that fails, push for an instance-level ban.
  3. If that doesn't work, complain to the receiving instances and try to get them to ban those accounts.
  4. And when people move to a separate instance, suddenly the demand becomes defederation.

The goalposts just keep moving. It's never really about finding a solution. It's about getting rid of people who post content.

Who benefits - oh ya definitely reddit.

I've seen these tactics before, and I'm not falling for them.

It’s to make it easy for people to view organic lemmy content instead of the shit you spread.

And the people that enjoy mindlessly upvoting reposted reddit content can do it too.

Everyone wins.
