Donald Trump came to Syracuse hoping to energize Republicans ahead of the midterm elections. Instead, one of the defining images of his visit may be the furious reception waiting for him outside.

It's really not, if you ask me.

Donald only had a chance because Democrats ignored the cost of living crisis when they had the power to improve people's living conditions. If they had done anything meaningful, anything... they'd have won. Hell, homelessness jumped 18% just in Biden's final year as president.

Instead, they tried to gaslight people as if they don't do their own grocery shopping or pay their own bills. They were, and are, so out of touch it's made actual, legit socialists electable, which is historic.

Your right. I can't argue against that. Republicans won elections because Democrats stopped voting, they didn't turn Republican they just didn't vote.

I'm still mad at those who allowed trump to win a second term. I really can't forgive them. Roe vs Wade being over turned, ICE, the Palestinian genocide, AI, were truly screwed, not voting wasn't worth it

That is by far the most likely outcome of the mid-terms too.

I don't think deep red voters will flip, but I do think a meaningful percentage of them simply won't vote, given that it's evidently a waste of their time to do so.

I disagree here. Results were not immediate but many things done, if not reversed, were good for everyone and certainly preferable to things bad for everyone. The real problem is its easy to destroy and not easy to build. The next democrat will not be able to fix everything in one term and people need to get that.
