This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

See this GitHub page for a collection of sources about socialism, imperialism, and other relevant topics.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

Welcome again to everybody. Make yourselves at home. In the time-honoured tradition of our group, here is the weekly discussion thread!

P.S. Update on those stability improvements/enhancements I mentioned in my previous weekly thread: they're finished. The matrix server uptime is now better. Suspiciously better, some might say. Anyway, enjoy the reliability >:3

there is not any word in the english language that can capture just how horrifying the control of the capitalist powers over the internet is. (well internet is small part of the indoctrination and control of historiography, but the internet... in the time i was gone i've been observing my irl friend's internet feed and remembered as far as they think, this is all pure, clean and dandy. and i kept seeing the ciaslop everywhere) apart from that, witnessing anglosphere internet even secondhand reminded me why i find everyone there so fucking ANNOYING!! their trite """""""""politics"""""""""" of flab and vapor invariably end up anti-communist, ESPECIALLY their ideas of 'anti-capitalism' that end in silly little discussions of authoritarianism, did you know stalin was as bad as hitler, maybe worse?!

realizing that, at least i know i should focus on being able to have a real understanding of theory, where i know it so well that i can say it in such nice undeniable chunks for everyone, and then i can really help them pull at the strings about current events. only then could i actually start challenging the basics of historical knowledge, those that if you question them they'll start biting your leg. it's odd, actually, because i just wrote that paragraph out and i suddenly felt a burgeoning feeling of happiness and contentment. it's something i can do :)

This is the way, comrade! I am also planting the seeds of doubt. I got hit with the 'are pro-russia' and 'concentration camps in xinjang', and have been quietly flipping the script. "I don't know that its pro-russia but more like anti-US', and the alternative is what? Just keep voting for the status-quo? Thats pro-genocide". (Voting for the workers party). "Concentration camps for that many people?? That would be fucking HUGE and you could see that from space." (rikers comparison). It starts by helping people see that what they are led to believe is them being led by someone. We can do this together :)

youre just like me fr i feel like crying a little

it's been disenfranchising realizing what i actually know about theory is so little and fretting i said the wrong things or made wrong connections but i know i've been eroding the propaganda through more solid things like "don't you think it's ridiculous that XYZ is true and yet this isn't?" and in fact i took pride in being able to just throw basic arrows through shit like xinjiang or even DPRK (because myths about it are so inherently crazy but the indoctrination is so powerful)

so to know to erode that is more effective and when i build my understanding it'lll be a good one two punch idk i'm very tired but this makes me happy right now

When people are ready to engage in some deeper thoughts, then can start going into theory but until then just chipping away at the walls. If there are just one or two issues that people are really chewing over then lets chop it up together. What is going to help me, as today I just right my thoughts down, is that when I have a computer I can start filing away my and organising my notes. When the wall of text show downs happen then I too and copy and paste and furiously type away! This will definitely help me build a more complete understanding and allow me to stay cohesive in my analysis.

You're fighting the good fight comrade, keep it up!

gonna try to parlay my friend’s recommendation of a show into me trying to discuss the rate of falling profits, creation of the reserve army of labor, and the immiseration of the proletariat

"Boy this sure is expensive, huh?"

gonna turn the ideas of general "corporate greed" into "where does the west get its riches when it doesn't produce value outside of being responsible for service sector or export of money" lenin-pointing
