I love wolf spiders. They are pretty chill if you leave them be. We have a few in my basement and I tell them not to let my SO see them or else I have to move them to the garage. We never have any bugs/insects in the house.

By my back door where I sit to smoke, the frame has rotted out at the bottom. We got a wolf that lives in the hole. I have saved her 5 times from our cats.

Last month my wife called me into the kitchen. The wolf had come inside with her babies. She was hiding from my wife and son. When I came in and they stepped back, I swear to Darwin. She came out of hiding, got up on my sons toy truck and turned to show me her babies.

I got as close as I could aa I still am a little scared, but I kid you not. She showed em to me, turned, looked at me, and then went to the door and waited for me to open it.

I do believe one of her daughters lives in the hole now, and only comes out when I am near.

I've really ended up loving wolf spiders.

If something shows basic intelligence and doesn't harm me or others, I would be friends with literally anything.

Don't take this from me. It took me years of hard work to even get them into cups to save em.

I am utterly petrified of spiders for most part.

I've had a few get into my house I try to safely relocate them, other spiders I have a rule you stay in your corner and we are chill, you run on the floor, couch, table, desk it's squishy time if I see you.
