It's only because I can't do the Terry Prachett thing of having footnotes to my posts.
Here on lemmy? Or somewhere else? FlakesBongler is right for many other places, but for lemmy: https://pandoc.org/MANUAL.html#footnotes (it has the same syntax, both inline and non. I like the inline ones they are easy to make and when writing work quite like just parantheses)
