I don’t know how we’re going to recover

As long as people vote in the 2028 primaries, we'll be fine and it'll take almost no effort.

Obviously midterms matter if you have Senate/House up for grabs and for local level.

But all we've ever needed is a fair primary, and progressives dominate. What we're about to see in the midterms is the result of just honestly trying to win everywhere. Also not difficult or a hard strategy to think of.

As long as people keep voting, we keep putting progressives in, four years from now we could very likely be about to vote in the mythical 2/3 majority to actually get a fully functional government again.

Four years is nothing on a country's timeline, and it will progressively get better overtime. That kind of huge jump in midterms would also almost guarantee the progressive president a second term. Without having to trade off with Republicans, voters would start to see stuff pay off, and be motivated to keep voting

Shit sucks today, but I been saying since Kamala lost that one decade long timescale it was the most optimistic I've ever been for America. Like, I voted for her and all (fucking stupid that always needs mentioned) but if she had won she'd have let Jamie Harrison keep the DNC and he'd keep rigging primaries and threatening party members.

We're almost thru the worst of it
