The lemmy.ml admins couldn't handle someone pointing that any conversation about Palestine should be centered around the Palestinian victims undergoing a literal genocide and not on Judaism, because in the present day Jews are just privileged white people who aren't facing any systemic oppression but are even systemically privileged.
An instance pretending to give a voice for the the Global South in the end just censors non-Eurocentric opinions to the point of censoring for genocide.
Apparently they didn't instantly delete the comment after banning me but did so hours afterwards, probably because others agreed with me.

It is still more accurate to target criticism at Zionists, a category that includes the entire problem and only the problem, than at Jews, only some of whom are part of the problem, and who don't cover the entire problem. Objecting to the distinction between Jews and Zionists and calling it "Hasbara" is completely wrong.

A distinction between Jews as individuals, and Zionism can be made. But Judaism as a religion (which is what the sign in the OOP is about) is absolutely wholly intertwined with Zionism to the point where the difference is so minimal that it's not important at all.
