Palmer Luckey of Anduril is teaming with Ben Lamm of Colossal Biosciences to launch Warhound, a startup dedicated to genetically engineering and cloning dogs for service in war, police work and first responder work.

Speaking to Wired, Lamm explained that the project was twofold. One part of the project would oversee the genetic engineering and cloning of the ideal dogs for war, and the other would develop tech for them to use on battlefields.

I think you have misunderstood what "There is no ethical consumption under capitalism." means. It's not an excuse to allow yourself to buy ModRetro, it's a reminder that existing inside a capitalist system is itself unethical. Although you may not have a choice. It's not an excuse, it's a condemnation. People misuse it to mean they exist and it's impossible to avoid participating in capitalism regardless of moral objections but that's not what it means.
