The beaten path is sloppifying a lot faster than the alternatives and where management gets angry if you don't use AI.

True, and for most things you get a choice, in contrast to Windows/MacOS. But if the kernel itself slides down this path there's not a lot you can do unless you're willing to sacrifice enormous amounts of time and effort.

I'm kind of done with this passion, I'll be investing more of my time into yard maintenance and my boat.
