I built one. It's a Waveshare RP2350-pizero with added 8MB PSRAM to emulate a 386 DX. I installed MSDOS 6.22 on it, and I'm waiting on a I²S audio chip to emulate a Soundblaster for it.
I want to get a couple rp2040 boards made to make my own Sonos style active speaker system. One day...
My latest build is a RP2040 bodge-wired to a microSD card, a speaker, and a couple of legacy connectors. It boots to MMBasic.
