Swallowing pills. A friend pointed out that tilting your head down helps with swallowing and I had never thought about it before. It really does make it easier!

If it’s a floating pill like a capsule tilting your head down helps a lot, but if it’s a pill that sinks and sticks to your tongue tipping your head back can help

The trick for me is to sort of toss the pill up into the water in my mouth. Do it a few times and you'll feel it go out of contact with your tongue.

Once that happens, swallow and it will be like you didn't take anything at all.

When I was a teenager I had the hardest time swallowing pills, even with water. So my mom bought me some mini M&Ms and had me practice with those. Since they are small, squishy, and don't taste bad, they are easy to swallow. I learned where to position the m&ms on the back of my tongue to easily swallow them without gagging. Now I can easily swallow any size pill without water.

Swallowing with yoghurt or pudding also helps.

I just have a swig of water in my mouth first, then pop a pill and swallow at once. No more gross pill taste if you do the pill first

I just tale a bite og food and let the pills go down with that once chewed.

Add the pills just before swallowing

I just toss the pills in my mouth and take a drink of water. Everything goes down easily.

I guess that's mine then, chasing pills with water. I used to choke them down like a freak

also water helps, so you dont feel the pill. if its a large one it might more difficult.

Water is absolutely necessary. I didn't use it until I started taking spironolactone, which is a notoriously bad tasting pill. But without water pills can just get stuck at the back of the throat far too easily

I’ve never been able to make this work for me. I have a horrible gag reflex and I’ve been told I swallow pills like a goose. Which I do but hey it works for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hold my breath and swallow first. It tricks me into swallowing the pill so I can breathe again sooner.
