my favourite "genre" of music is happyish songs about death

examples:

We're All Gonna Die

Memento Mori

When I Die

and also all the songs that give me specifically the same vibe. my friends are often confused

edit: thank you all for the recommendations <3 a lot new songs on my favourite playlist!

Not a 'revival hymn', but more of a 'survival hymn'. (As introduced one time by the artist.)

I don't like music in major-key but make an exception for Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival, who specifically talked about how he made the juxtaposition between upbeat music and lyrics about the apocalypse and doom a deliberate choice and made one of the all-time classic songs.
