"Belief without proof" is what we are all forced to do in life where proof is rarely available, and yet we must still make decisions, and we must manage our doubt and the strain of responsibility. If you think you're immune, you don't understand the first thing about your own mind.

I make decisions on my past experiences and then adjust if things change. If people are just doing things without proof, then we just found the problem now, didn't we?

There is so much proof for so many things, there is an abundance of empirical proof across the board. This is a shit take.

But proof is always available if you know where to look, and that comes from education. The more educated you are, the less faith you have, and the more confidence you gain from our collective empirical experience. Nobody's claiming anything else here. I know the mind is flawed.
