What else can we do? It's a nuclear state backed by the US. The US won't allow NATO to do anything, and anyone else intervening would spark a World War.

Have you heard of economic sanctions? Arms embargos?

Obviously the UN can't do this, but the EU could, and hasn't. This has been an obvious genocide for well over a year now. Even if it weren't genocide, killing tens of thousands of civilians and destroying an entire countries infrastructure over 1k deaths and a hundred (?) hostages is a psychopathically disproportionate scale of war crimes.
