Ah yes, russia with their great track record of peaceful geopolitics. I'm sure Ukraine, Georgia, Afghanistan, Finland, et al. are very grateful for the peace they've brought.

Likewise, i'm sure the rest of the planet appreciates being couped every year with one of your unhinged dictators, and being economic vassals.

You're still describing Russia bruh.

[–] alphabethunter@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

As a latin american, I can confidently and factually say you couldn't have been more fucking wrong.

[–] umbrella@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 days ago

please study your own history

cause if you are blaming russia for the worlds problems, you need to.

That's like saying Estonia wanting to defend Ukraine is worthy of a LOL because NATO invaded Iraq steered by the US and UK... The BRICS represents many countries, this whole BRICS = Russia is downright white supremacy.

[–] HereIAm@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (2 children)

But no one said BRICS equals russia. And NATO didn't invade Iraq, they did provide support roles yes, but the invasion was US led. If I were to put words in your mouth I'd say you just accused BRICS of invading Ukraine.

Edit: (while deeply downvoted) the vote tally on this thread is the prime example lemmy. world has a bunch of nazi snowflakes going around manipulating votes.

Alright, fair enough, you did say BRICS and drmoose followed up with Russia, I'll give you that.

After that UNGA address by Pres Lula and their reaction to their own Jan6 one can only hope Brazil steps up to lead the BRICS in the right direction.
