Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

    • Unauthorized goodposting is to be punished in the manner of commenting the phrase "GOOD post" followed by an emoji that has not yet been used in the thread

I keep pressing the "make people work longer hours to pay rent" button and for reasons I can't understand, people don't want to have kids. (hexbear.net)

I'm at my wits end trying to figure it out. I've tried pressing the button even more to fix the issue but even with that it's still getting worse??

I don't know what could possibly be causing this. The only thing I can think of is that women are getting too uppity on account of having too many rights. Sounds bad but I don't know what else I could even try. I already tried pressing the button a bunch of times.

Fortunately, we've found someone to press the button even harder, and who hates women's rights, and best of all, she is a woman so nobody gets to complain about it.

legitimately, if you make it unaffordable to live on your own, shame people from living with family into adulthood (or make it legal for their family to mistreat them with impunity), ratchet homophobia to the highest levels, and ban birth control and even education about it while ramming "couplehood is salvation" down everyones' throats with every media outlet, you are gonna get mixed gender couples shacking up to survive and procreating unintentionally.

"moved into together out of necessity and accidentally had a kid" is a real data point.
