I'm watching the press conference now, and I think a big part is Mamdani talks with his hands and has a bunch of giant flashy gold rings on.
trump just zones out like a baby watching someone jingle keys, and then says "I love this guy!" Probably without even realizing why.
I had to go back and look at old pics, he always wears them, but they're insanely shiny in this video. I think he got them polished and trump has "jewelry store lights" that accentuate gold to make his spray painted home Depot shit look real.
So you come in with freshly polished real gold and it's mesmerizing in comparison
