Ironic; they used acid, but are based

To create awareness, you should not be using this composition at all. It can cause serious damage to the structure,

CompositionThey used a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, salt, and acrylic paint. According to Extinction Rebellion, the acid attacks the concrete, the hydrogen peroxide causes steel to rust faster, and salt speeds up the process.

Thanks. Very helpful to know what chemicals should not be mixed together to damage concrete. As a homeowner this is useful information so that I don't accidentally erode my concrete foundation. I'll be sure that I store these common household chemicals apart from each other so they don't accidentally leak and mix

i often mix these chemicals together by mistake, it would be good to know what ratios they're mixed in so i dont accidentally mess up the foundations of my house

Thanks for spreading awareness, i will make sure not to do this to my concrete foundations.

Ahh the ol Cybertruck Top Coat, what a classic. I didn't know it was hazardous to concrete.

Seems XR are getting into direct action. Will probably get slapped as a terror org next by the UK

[–] chobeat@lemmy.ml 12 points 3 days ago

mind that this is XR NL. XR UK is considered very... weird, despite being the original one. Chapters in other nations are very different

It's a bigger threat than a few hours of blocking the A12 motorway again for the umpteenth time

Usually using acid just sabotages yourself.
