For USA? Roland Crane, since his only act shown in his office was getting offed by missile strike.

When he wasn't trying to engage in his favorite pastime of killing and vilifying Superman, Lex Luthor was a pretty good President all things considered.

Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho

Of course...

"Idiocracy"

He knew things were bad and had the will to see them fixed, despite what the Representative from North Carolina said.

Also once Camacho found the world's smartest man, he demanded his help

As opposed to decrying him as a woke pansy intellectual and deporting him

We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!

Bill Pullman is best president

Also I dunno why I always get chills when I hear this obviously cheesy line. He sold it.

Easily one of the best movie speeches of all time. I remember seeing it in a theater in NYC when it was first released, and the entire auditorium went apeshit.

Kinda floored he hasn’t been mentioned yet, so I’ll throw him in the mix.

he was a good man - but he gave up the presidency temporarily after lying about having MS, frequently engaged in black ops in other countries, shut down the government like Trump, and knowingly employed an alcoholic who was constantly relapsing during the campaign trail as his chief of staff. Also his communications director leaked military secrets, his press secretary was in a suspicious relationship with a journalist, his wife committed medical fraud and due to knock on affects of his security protocol he and his speech writer are shot, he and his senior staff are exposed to a potential chemical weapon and quarantined, several secret service agents are killed during active service protecting the first family, and during some of these killings his daughter is kidnapped.

His administration was a mess lol

Donald Trump. Because he'd be fictional and not real.

In general or in comparison?

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

As long as it’s an actor/actress who played the president in something.

[–] luthis@lemmy.nz 3 points 16 hours ago

Well in comparison it would be all of them. In general, I'd say Bill Pullman.

[–] Blackfeathr@lemmy.world 4 points 18 hours ago* (last edited 18 hours ago)

Stephen Colbert. Though iirc in the marvel universe he won the popular vote but lost the EC vote to Obama.

He still would be a good president.

[–] BeUnique@lemmy.zip 3 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

President Kamacho is sorta like the president we have now if that's what you're into.

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 16 points 18 hours ago

Camacho was nuts but he still cared about his people. Donny don’t give 2 shits about any of us.

*Looks at Nick Offerman in Civil War.

[–] QuentinCallaghan@sopuli.xyz 2 points 17 hours ago

In one Simpsons episode Cletus was a president, I'd think he would do his job well.

Vasyl Petrovych Holoborodko?

Jack Ryan from the books

[–] kuiskaaja@lemmy.ml 2 points 18 hours ago

not sure but i know that Vasyl Petrovych Holoborodko didn't do too great

[–] Johandea@feddit.nu 1 points 18 hours ago

Volodymyr Zelenskyj, while not perfect, has proven he can both play and do the job.
