Residential areas in Tehran and several other cities also were hit, according to the official IRNA news agency, which reported that the strikes killed a number of people, including women and children, in a residential complex in Tehran.

Ok, i was confused that Israel didn't take this opportunity to take out some residential areas and kill some innocent women and children but there it is

This comment is uninformed and I appreciate any corrections or education:

I thought Iran already had nukes, so the attack made no sense: Attacks on nuclear weapons facilities are prettly much "launch nukes" in any nuclear doctrine in any nuclear country.

But apparently they have just been working on them, and are allegedly a few weeks off from making their first?

It still seems like a suicidal move. Attacks on production typically slows or delays, but won't delete or reverse anything. Iran hurrying up the programme and going on full nuke alert ready to fire if a bird in the sky twitches wrong seems like a very possible outcome.

Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons. They’ve enriched uranium to something like 65% to prove they could go further if pressed but no bombs that we know of yet.

Israel’s official policy is to not say whether or not they have nuclear weapons but everyone knows they have them and the “mysterious” test was Israel and Apartheid South Africa working together.

Many more states have the knowledge and capability but generally don’t want to violate the nuclear non-proliferation treaty. I would guess most countries with advanced economies could make a bomb in short time if they wanted to.

Iran does not have nukes as far as the world knows. however iran has uranium enrichment facilities which are critical for making nukes. Israel trying to stop iran from making nukes

Iran has facilities that Israel will never be able to bomb. This will only have the effect of accelerating production in those facilities while this devolves into general war, but that was always the case an Israel wants to stick its dick in every bee's nest in the Middle East and drag the US right there along with them

What facilities are you alluding to here?

For instance: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fordow_Fuel_Enrichment_Plant

As far as i know we don't have any bombs that will penetrate through a mountain.

Interesting, thanks for the link!
