As Moore notes, users are throwing all sorts of prompts into Meta AI without knowing that they’re being displayed publicly, including sensitive medical and tax documents, addresses, and deeply personal information—including, but not limited to—confessions of affairs, crimes, and court cases. The list, unfortunately, goes on. I took a short stroll through the Meta AI app for myself just to verify that this was seemingly still happening as of writing this post, and I regret to inform you all that the pain train seems to be rolling onward. In my exploration of the app, I found seemingly confidential prompts addressing doubts/issues with significant others, including one woman questioning whether her male partner is truly a feminist. I also uncovered a self-identified 66-year-old man asking where he can find women who are interested in “older men,” and just a few hours later, inquiring about transgender women in Thailand.

Honestly yeah this just seems like an ad trying to generate interest for yet another AI app. Seems like the type of engagement meta often tries to court.

LoL people will never learn. They won't care even if you show them the publically available proof.

It's been known for years that Meta/Facebook is only concerned about gathering personal information and nothing else.

Unfortunately, many people just don't care. And they won't until it hurts them. Even then they might buy into whatever BS Meta pushes to avoid responsibility.

I don't think it's just parents falling for this or older people.

I assume he did find transgender women in Thailand? Or transgender people, them because it could be a cis woman transitioning into being a trans man. Or a cis man transitioning to being a trans woman. Its a little confusing. Like the term Chinese American or x-nation-american, well that's just an American. So a trans woman is basically just a woman right? Unless they actually haven't transitioned? Oh what the heck do I know. The guy just wants someone to have fun with. Someone who will listen to their hopes and dreams. Maybe he or they are trans themselves? This is why we should have the right to be whatever gender we would like to be. Then someone could clarify all these terms so we can just love each other.
