I set up a Plex last year but found out my Internet upload speed was too slow to share it with anyone
Jellyfin straight up doesn't work for me. I can install it and point it at the right directories and it'll just say "nah bud, these folders are empty. Also, enjoy this Windows Registry error on boot forever, even after uninstall!"
This is the only non-linux device in my life, basically a Steam and Plex server.
Everything Plex has done lately has me anxiously checking if Jellyfin has made any significant progress every month or so lol
Yep! Same here, and the answer has been "lol no" every time. I have a lifetime Plex pass at least, but who knows how much longer before they'll just start undercutting that.

Huge mistake, I know. Unfortunately I have one computer I can't switch off of windows because I have a windows mixed reality headset and use it regularly.

I read this post and checked all my drives and you wouldn't believe it but every single one of them was full. I pulled out all that weird technology garbage and closed them back up and now my computer isn't even turning on for some reason. Please help.
I've got like 80 GB free on my pc and 130 GB free on my phone, glorious open real estate 
If you want to be really technical, most of our hard drives are full simply because there are unindexed files sitting in what one considers to be "empty space."
My storage is ephemeral like my life so I only use ramdisk.

Nah I have like 4-5 Terrabyte on different SSDs I bought over the years. I have over 30 games installed and a lot of vids saved and it barely makes a difference. TLDR my harddrive is not full. Im a bit of a tech enthusiast (everyday folk) I think I totally can see their hardrives being pretty full though.
i tend to keep mine around 50% by regularly purging stuff I'm not using - but I have had people comment to me in the past that they thought that was weird.
Nah my drives are I think around half to two-thirds. My phone's at a little over one-third.
All the data is really small, it's games and media that take up space, but I just delete those when I'm done with them.
I'm about 2/3 full across my nvmes and deep storage. HDD are freaking expensive now even. And harder to find. A few TB are games, those can easily go, but whenever they want to drop the price on a reliable deep storage i could probably use some more.
