So if you kill yourself to go to heaven, that is a sin so you go to hell. On the other hand, if you do things to bring on the end times that's okay. So is he saying in the first scenario you can't fool god, but in the second you can. Time for a new god ... or better yet, none at all.
Bringing about the end times is ALSO not allowed: "But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son,[a] but the Father only..."
These people are dangerous weirdos who don't even read their own fucking book.

I am convinced that extreme evangelical shitheads like him want to bring about the end times because getting raptured is their shot at getting into heaven without actually having to die first. Jesus comes and takes you to heaven without all that nasty dying business.

Netflix made a doc called "The Family" about that group. They started in 1935 and are Christian extremists who want the apocalypse to happen while they're alive so they can be raptured instead of dying.
Most people only know them from "the national prayer breakfast" something most of our politicians (regardless of party) attend and is treated like an official event and not pancakes with a death cult for our nations leaders.
"Pancakes with a Death Cult" would be a great historical analysis book title.
