They're pretty funny at times and informative if you're interested in old American cars, they also do old French and old British cars sometimes. They also do actual restorations. He did a 60 Plymouth Fury that I wouldn't have even bothered with and spliced it with the platform of a 60 Dodge and made a really nice car.

Recently found a transportation news channel called City For All, which is pretty niche, but I found it surprisingly interesting and relaxing.
For tech segments, I enjoy TechAltar and its sister channel The Friday Checkout.
I'm also keen on The Linux Experiment, Gardiner Bryant, and Michael Horn for Linux/open-source news and tips, as well as Continuum Gaming for Jolla/SailfishOS.
Somewhere in between the last two, I like the privacy segments from the Proton channel, together with Tech Gets Real.
Dr. James Gill (the content is actually pretty good, I'm just massively misusing his contributions) and Restoration Kamasutra channels for that sweet sweet ASMR.
For news and politics discussions, TLDR News EU or TLDR News Global, as well as EU Made Simple, and I guess The Daily Show and Last Week Tonight for poking fun at the news from across the pond.
I have a strange mix of sports/outdoors/lifestyle genres that I like:
I like shadiversity but honestly its just because they are all like con guys and its fun to have them geeking out over medieval stuff in the background. pbs spacetime of course. Epic npc man, epic rap battles, the thing with doing alternate movie commercials.
Used to like that channel. His love of “AI” generated slop and shitty personal beliefs ramped up and hit the threshold for me.
I still love his thoughts on sticks, though.
you know I have not actually watched youtube much in awhile. I may have missed the ai stuff. He was actually getting a bit tiring with the youtube changes. I get it but as much as getting some income out of it is great the fact is he is doing stuff my friends and I would do for free for the heck of it. Don't like the idea of google making money off the videos but the changes he made would be less views so google loses as well.
I use freetube but I’ve certainly watched less videos overall.
I doubt he gets less views. YouTube skews right so, I’m thinking he’s still growing.
