Check you're not just seeing the thumbnail, it's a good size for me. I think sone clients default to the small view unless you click them or similar.
I'm on desktop and it's not very good. I thought my net was crapping out until I saw the comments
That's really bizzare, on lemmy instances, even the poster's home instance, it's tiny and blurry, but on piefed instances (I've tried piefed.social and piefed.world) it shows up fine. Just obe of the mysteries of the fediverse I guess.
This is the 2nd time today I've seen lemmy users mention this issue while i see the full yes on piefed. Must be a bug in lemmy i guess.
It looks fine on this instance. Maybe it's a .world media storage thing going on.

Maybe some compression algorithm shit the bed I guess lol.
I think it's legit just displaying the thumbnail image as the main image for some reason, so yeah probably a compression algorithm shit the bed. Never seen this on Lemmy before though, kinda curious what broke to cause this.
Maybe every time this gets reposted they're just jpeging it again!

Why are so many people complaining about quality of the image? I don't think the quality can get any higher
This is a high quality version. The main post opens to a much lower quality version for me and everyone else complaining, I guess.

I wondered, too. But, I'm on desktop and I think the poor images are on phones.
The biggest loss of WB under David Zaslav is Battlebots
He shut down the Cartoon Network website.
And to the PE firms and shareholders, all of that is a W.
Fucking shareholders.
Actually he wanted to sell it to Netflix (which is marginally better) but the shareholders choose Paramount because it offers way more money for the valuation of WB IIRC
