Just curious seeing as Anna's Archive supports Revolut and AliPay for example, and some private torrent trackers also support ways of making credit card payments. And how is this safe in any way for either of the receiver and sender?

Piracy is rampant in China. There have been crackdowns but nowhere near enough to have an effect. And they pretty much don't care about western piracy (or pirating western content)

just a guess but, some countries dont give a shit about piracy. if you're there, may as well use a card
