It seems that he's gone. Went to Argentina and got into a private plane to USA (still under investigation).

A community for discussing events around the World
Rule 1: posts have the following requirements:
Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.
Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed.
Rule 4: Posts or comments that are homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, anti-religious, or ableist will be removed. “Ironic” prejudice is just prejudiced.
Posts and comments must abide by the lemmy.world terms of service UPDATED AS OF OCTOBER 19 2025
Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.
Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Interesting how the fugitive fascists all end up seeking safety in the US.... wonder why that is all of a sudden.
and in fascist states, texas and florida only
I wonder where the American fugitive fascists will run to hide?
Israel actually
Russia
The alleged plane he took (LV-JQW) is still parked on Iguazú, Argentina. So they could still be trying to leave
It used to be that Nazis fled to Argentina. I guess there's a better safe haven for them now.
You'll never believe where Peter Thiel is
Is it Patagonia, Argentina?
We're the Russia for criminal asylum seekers with enough money
notable ones, SHAH, even bin laden for a while, and other leaders.
Thank goodness Brazilians came to their senses and fought back through voting.
America take note.
It's still crazy that someone guilty of these crimes was allowed to even have a chance of being elected
You'd think it's crazy, but most of his voters still believe he is not guilty of anything and had to flee because of political persecution.
Several right wing owned companies came forth about stopping charity programs due to the election results, and some claim to be about to fire people because they know they voted for Lula,
Kinda depressing, actually.
Oooh the whole maffia clan together in prison. So beautiful!
For that to happen the US has to extradite the one hiding there.
I bet it’s more than one.
Oh man, yes. Please let me see another fascist get perp-walked.
I guess that's one of the reasons why he didn't want to concede losing.
Whats this about surrendering passports? The article is paywalled.
Bolso Jr was under investigation for sometime now over massive corruption scandals and embezzlement, even before his father's presidency - which Bolso Sr then leaned on the courts to lay off at the time.
When Bolso Sr lost the presidency, the courts were back to investigating the corruption.
Bolso Jr then ran for presidency hoping for immunity and a self pardon (and pardon for Sr.). That's why his brother said that if he loses, he has to run away. Not that there would be "retribution" (which Brazil Magats are calling it) but because it's been a years long investigation and Jr has run out of rocks to hide under.
Just imagine if you had someone like that running a country!
Far-right senator banned from leaving country as supreme court judge’s ruling makes reference to money-laundering case
The far-right senator Flávio Bolsonaro was banned from leaving Brazil and ordered to surrender his passports just hours after his dramatic loss in the presidential election to the leftist president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
The ruling was issued by supreme court justice Alexandre de Moraes, the same justice who oversaw the trial of the senator’s father, the former president Jair Bolsonaro, for attempting a coup.
Bolsonaro posted a video saying the decision was based on an interview his brother, Eduardo Bolsonaro, gave last Friday urging his brother to leave Brazil if he lost the election.
Despite what the title implies, it's not clear because the order is classified right now.
But Flavio is being investigated by every crime you can think of and some you can't. So, it's useless to speculate too...
JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
