Miles Teller. Exception: This meme
I was gonna say Miles Teller is great in Swiss Army Man, but that's Paul Dano. At least he's got Whiplash.
Mine is also Will Ferrel.
Shia LeBeouf was tolerable (some might even say good) in Fury, but other than that, yech.
Kal El no
I don't think I like any of the comedies I've watched from Adam Sandler, but his dramatic stuff is fantastic.
Brian Cox, the isn't-science-and-astronomy-cool guy.
I love his works, cant get enough of the TV he puts out, always look forward to the next one, but there's just something about him that makes me want to hook him in the jaw. I cant figure out what my problem with him is, but its real.
I feel exactly similar except the last part. I'm curious, if you ever figure it out - please update this post.
I really only liked Will Ferrell in Megamind tbh
All the supposed comics - Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Steve Martin, etc. Even a lot of Jim Carrey's stuff - the humor is sophomoric at best.
Tawny Kitaen and Alex Kingston. I can't stand them, they're nails on a blackboard. It's why I gave up on NuWho. Gal Gadot, but that's mostly because her acting is wooden and characters uninteresting.
Steve Martin's work may go deeper than you realize. Yeah he started out real slapstick and goofy but over the past couple decades he's slowed down and taken a more thoughtful approach I think
Otherwise im with you
I wouldn't say I can't stand it, but I've grown to hating movies with The Rock in them. Not cause his acting sucks, but because it's the same shit with different special effects. But I enjoyed the Scorpion King, and Get Smart
Pedro Pascal. I don't think I've even seen anything he's in, and yet I feel I've been overexposed to his face. Nothing personal.
Robert Downey Jr. because he just has a smug aura and I don't like Marvel movies. I'm sure he's cool irl. Or not, idk.
Chris Pratt. Too much, go away.
Jason Momoa because he's too perfect and I'll never be him.
The Rock because he's annoying and in everything. I liked him more as a wrestler.
I liked Chris Pratt until he was in some ad hawking a prayer app. Now I can't watch his movies.
I didn't mind him in Parks and Rec for a while, but after some time he just had nothing to offer. He's the weakest link for me.
Guardians and Jurassic Park could have been played by anyone and I wouldn't miss him in those. He just seems like a nothing-burger that stumbles into success repeatedly.
What about him did you like?
I think I just liked Starlord the character, TBH. Agree he was just a goofball in parks and rec. Nothing special, but I didn't actively dislike him like I do now.
If you're ever curious, watch the Rock in No Pain No Gain. He's a supporting character and dumb as hell. It's one of my favorite roles of his.
Haha, will Ferrell as well!
Except Lego movie. (Haven't seen stranger than fiction but I'm led to believe that would be the second exception to my "I can't stand will Ferrell" rule, and a rule is only allowed 1 exception)
