"The results of the postmortems join a growing body of evidence that sharply contradicts Israel’s account of the incident, including video footage that shows the vehicles were travelling with headlights and flashing red lights that identified them, with personnel wearing hi-vis vests, at the time they were fired on."

As someone who proudly wore the Red Cross for many years as a volunteer I felt proud to be part of a global movement of Red Cross, Red Cresent & Red Crystal National Societies. Knowing that international law and the Geneva Conventions mean little to nothing to 'civilized' nations saddens me immensely.

The worst is that in a day or two the world would forget about this, the perpetrators won't get any effective sentences and everything will continue the same way. The world's hypocrisy is staggering.

Why are we even debating whether or not Israel are randomly murdering civilians? Of fucking course thats what happened, this has been happening for over a year now.

If you're in Gaza and not IDF, you are a target of the IDF. It's that simple and completely evil.

Waaaaay longer than that...

Most of us here know that, but many others beyond the Fediverse are still not convinced. Video documentation and expert testimony of horrible crimes is often effective in changing public opinion.

The flashing lights and hi-vis vests scared the battle-scarred IDF soldiers, so they opened fire. Just like back when some unarmed civilians waved a white flag. All Hamas' fault ofc, so the remedy here is a promotion for the brave soldiers and more missiles on Gaza.

Well yeah, shooting someone at all is “intent to kill” regardless of what part of the body is shot.
