He just wanted the children to be thinner so that they could more easily hide under their desks during school shooting. Seems more reasonable a solution than gun control, don't you think?

[–] sploder@lemmy.world 1 points 22 minutes ago

Charlie Kirk did not give a single fuck about children, especially the ones taken away by gun violence in particular imo

[–] LaserTurboShark69@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Making sure children are fed should be like step #1 of society

[–] Suavevillain@lemmy.world 3 points 4 hours ago

White America is not going to gaslight me into feeling sorry for an open white nationalist and Nazi getting quickscoped.

This guy was like the proverbial forked tongue, like what the christians would describe in their fantasyland as a devil or demon that really speaks to you and leads you down an evil path using words you secretly want to hear. Kirk talking was always full of subtle dog whistles, sometimes not so subtle, always leading the willing listener to justify their hatreds and myopic views. Framing questions as accusations, dodging actually answering questions, butwhataboutism, etc. A snake oil salesman for willing buyers. I’m not in the least religious, but the most vocal on the right are the spitting image of the nefarious smooth-talking baddies christians are always so worried about.

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Matthew 7:15

But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 1 points 24 minutes ago

Not sure I understand the corinthians relevance? Read the chapter and couldn't figure it out.

Death is too good for the people who deserve it the most.

[–] Daft_ish@lemmy.dbzer0.com 21 points 10 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago)

This is the one thing I've seen that has made me feel he deserved it.

This from the forced birth party. Miserable fucks, dead set on creating more miserable fucks.

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.blahaj.zone 19 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

He did deserve to be killed though.

[–] Korhaka@sopuli.xyz 12 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

"It sure is hot down here" - Charlie Kirk

[–] mateofeo85@lemmy.world 1 points 53 minutes ago

He’ll probably get special treatment down there. He gets to also meet his hero hitler.

[–] SapphironZA@sh.itjust.works 18 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

The obesity problem will also be solved by providing healthy nutritional meals. Not just the cheap food that all parents can afford.

[–] ArmchairAce1944@discuss.online 1 points 3 minutes ago

Which is something heavily overlooked.

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 10 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

the fact that shit food is cheapest in america is so profoundly insane

[–] shawn1122@sh.itjust.works 2 points 28 minutes ago

It sounds like the kind of outcome capitalism would produce though, no?

[–] HertzDentalBar@lemmy.blahaj.zone 19 points 12 hours ago (5 children)

No OP he did deserve it, as all Nazis do.

Now if we want to talk about anyone not deserving something it's all the poor sods who saw it happen. It's not pleasant watching someone die infront of you let alone violently.

Watching death sucks. Y'all remember that Russian invader who died in the shallow creek? Now that's a death I wouldn't even wish on Kirk.

[–] agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works 2 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Now if we want to talk about anyone not deserving something it's all the poor sods who saw it happen.

Eh, they were there to watch him, which means they probably agree with him, which means they deserve to see the consequences of his ideology.

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 2 points 6 hours ago

Actually, just like this video, his schtick was that he would take all comers to debate, and he always gathered a number of people who actually took that up and even if they knew he debated in bad faith, they saw the chance to be in the conversation and generate content supporting their contrary views by showing how much of an obtuse asshole Charlie Kirk was.

Large numbers of people went to his events to specifically disagree with him.

he did deserve it lol

[–] asteriskeverything@lemmy.world 17 points 15 hours ago

Wow that whole 'we don't have a child starvation problem, we have a child obesity problem' as evidence it doesn't exist.... that's just evil genius levels for political soundbites.

Evil because they are two side of the same coin! And genius deflection because one has physical evidence we all see everyday. Americans are fat and the media publishes articles of how our kids are fat, not how they are hungry. And if you may see that hungry kid you won't know they are hungry if you don't know them.

Frankly his first reply "get a job" is his real truth though.

[–] whiwake@lemmy.cafe 64 points 19 hours ago

He deserved it. And you are not helping society by adding that dumb little quip that he didn’t.

Please keep that shit to yourself.

[–] AshMan85@lemmy.world 52 points 19 hours ago

that nazi trash got what he deserved

[–] unphazed@lemmy.world 7 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

The government shouldn't help its people? The government should instead help weapons, communications companies, large estate companies, and banks? The wealthy can't afford it I guess, so we have to prioritize their needs over the voting populace? GTFO out with that elitist nonsense. Same old rhetoric, it's handouts, the poor are poor by choice or laziness, not due to cost of living, food, education, etc.

[–] shawn1122@sh.itjust.works 1 points 22 minutes ago* (last edited 16 minutes ago)

Yes, this is how monarchies operated through human history. The goal is to go back to that. To undo the efforts of enlightenment thinkers and revolutionaries that gave us societies with individual rights, popular sovereignty and seperation of powers.

Many that hold power and wealth want to turn back the clock to a time before systems held either in check.

Ban evasion was the most recent. But why was he banned?

"Unregistered domain? GoDaddy parking?" What's that?

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 16 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

The user has a history of making a post and then, days or hours later, coming back to change the title and link to "azazaz" or "qaqaqa" (just keyboard-rolling by the looks of it). One of those posts must've coincidentally matched up with a domain name that had been registered but wasn't in use. I can see some value in owning a domain with a name like that but that's a whole different set of topics. Mod checks the link, sees that there's nothing behind it and adds a reminder before moving on to the next round of whack-a-mole.

[–] Blue_Morpho@lemmy.world 14 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

So he's posting for upvotes and then hoping someone later clicks his now changed links to make a few pennies on ads? Wow.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 13 points 18 hours ago

I don't think so, it looks more like mashing keys because the form won't let you save with everything blanked out. Can't know for sure unless they pop up and decide to explain.

Hell of a guy. Such a shame we are bereft of his seducing the nation's dumb assholes to be tools of the plutocracy in the r party restarting feudalism right as global warming fucks everything.
