badposting is a comm where you post badly

This is not a !the_dunk_tank@hexbear.net alternative. This is not a !memes@hexbear.net alternative. This is a place for you to post your bad posts.

Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

Rules:

  1. Do not post good posts.
    • Unauthorized goodposting is to be punished in the manner of commenting the phrase "GOOD post" followed by an emoji that has not yet been used in the thread
    • Use an emoticon/kaomoji/rule-three-abiding ASCII art if the rations run out
  2. This is not a comm where you direct people to other people's bad posts. This is a comm where you post badly.
  3. This rule intentionally left blank.
  4. If you're struck for rule 3, skill issue, not allowed to complain about it.

Code of Conduct applies just as much here as it does everywhere else. Technically, CoC violations are bad posts. On the other hand: L + ratio + get ~~better~~ worse material bozo

It wasn't until the dark knight movie that they made it exposed flesh. Before his skin was just like green or purple. Maybe the logic is the acid cauterized it somehow.

Cauterisation actually generally increases the risk of infection in the affected area. Dead tissue is generally more hospitable to bacteria and fungus.

Yeah after that they turned him into darkman. Even with cauterization tho this mf would need..... Ah fuck it its comics i-cant

You cant cauterise an infection! Cauterising isnt done to disinfect! You do it to damage tissue in a way that closes it off!

[–] vegeta1@hexbear.net 12 points 2 days ago (1 children)

In hollywood it is. Thats how these action heroes survive big gaping wounds in jungles rich with hazards. You wouldn't question them now would you?

Listen i see a lot of stupid bullshit in movies with regards to emergency medicine. The amount of stupid tracheotomies (Which should be called conustomies! Tracheotomy is a bad name!) I see is driving me up a wall. But I think, and please don't correct me, let me keep a little bit of my sanity, that most times when you see a cauterisation done in movies its on someone who is bleeding to stop the bleeding.

You wouldn't happen to be in the medical field too would you?

Because I get driven up a wall with cauterization as well. Even the hot metal shit I see in movies even the burnt skin will have bacteria. And folks really don't understand how much bacteria is on there

That's why the medical thing to do is to take two cauterizations a day for two weeks or until your doctor tells you to stop! In case of overdose, visit your dermatologist immediately!

[–] Keld@hexbear.net 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

in the Harley Quinn show, he mentions that he's practically always at the dentist for his gums.

[–] vegeta1@hexbear.net 9 points 2 days ago

I will forever laugh at that show's potrayal of banes' voice

[–] RoabeArt@hexbear.net 16 points 2 days ago (2 children)

I was always amazed at how (in The Dark Knight) he was able to take a drink of that shot without any of it sloshing through his open cheek wound.

It's an illusion - he's two completely separate halves like that SCP of half of a cat pretending to be one person
