After the election of Mamdani & Hashmi, two of the 5 Muslim mayors, 4 Muslim state legislators, and 2 Muslim judges elected in 2025; the Christian Nationalists are on a war path.

And I mean an actual war path.

Jake Lang, a J6er and racist, launched a massive rally in Dearborn, Michigan, at 3pm EST Tuesday. He burned the Quran, smacked it with bacon, he even said the Muslims were “chimping out” and that he didn’t have bananas. He also was caught telling Muslims they’re not American because they “don’t look it.” | Source | Source 2

The same day, earlier, Greg Abbott, designated the Council on American-Islamic Relations as foreign terrorist organization. CAIR is a lawyer group fighting for the civil rights of Muslims in America. It’s only a matter of time before this legislation is copied by other states. | Source

This is a full on assault on Muslim & Arab communities!

The Left must unify and fight with the Muslims, and further end the influence of foreign reaction like that of Saudi Arabia and Wahhabism. We must protect the Muslims and continue the influence of Islamic Socialism. Only with an alliance of the Left & Islam will this reactionary assault end.

Thanks. I agree the interaction you linked is bizarre and concerning.

I just wanted to follow up for context after seeing another Muslim banned off the fediverse.

That's a fair concern. In this case the image bears their watermark which indicated (in our opinion) that it was their creation and not a meme they might have found online. A reverse search for both the words and the picture didn't find any match online, further confirming it. At the time I confronted them about the picture I knew they did not seem to come by Lemmygrad too often (posting every 2 to 4 weeks) so we agreed to give them some time to respond. It also makes a temporary warning ban a bit awkward if the ban passes without the user in question even noticing it because they were away. After making this post today, we gave them over an hour to get back to us about the image to hear their side (after 18 days since we asked for clarification), but they didn't seem interested - they posted this thread and then seem to have logged off again.

From my perspective, someone claiming to represent Islamic socialism has a higher level of accountability and responsibility for actions on a public forum. Also, Islamic socialists dont need to rephrase white supremacist slogans when we have our own history, our own texts, and our own leaders... its all very peculiar.
