Bro... condemning them is such a low bar and these ass politicians here are not even willing to take that step. It takes almost 0 effort and is very low risk. We have territories that "belong" to the Netherlands close by that are afraid of what's going on with their neighbor and you won't even speak up about it. Weak.

Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Guys this is horrible and widely reported here, but pls keep in mind we have a "lame-duck" caretaker government atm before the new ruling coalition forms (it's taking a hell of a long time and is difficult).
This caretaker government was a coalition with the PVV, who are our modern fascist party, and other "normal" conservatives, so it's sad but not surprising.
There's a Dutch possession, Bonaire, right off the coast of Venezuela.
It's only industry is tourism. I have to think that the Dutch don't want any military operations going on in that area, and don't want the US to blockade the island.
"Boinaire will be handing over 50 million tourists, that will 'agree' to use some money in the US right before we prosecute and expel them to random South-American dictatorship. This will cover the cost of managing the island indefinitely."
