It should be national election week, not election day

There really should be some sort of industrial standard for journalism. Like a lawyer needs to pass the bar exam and be in good standing or be disbarred, a journalist should have to be licensed or recognized and if they are shown to be spreading falsehoods or doing other unethical things have their license revoked.
I don't understand what justification El Salvador has for keeping a man imprisoned who never broke any of their laws. Can I pay them to hold my neighbour in prison? How much does it cost?
I'll (Canada) probably be skipping a conference that we usually do each year in the states as well. Not worth potentially getting my phone/laptop scanned and data stolen.
But muh culture!
The problem I mostly have is even when those costs are recouped most companies fight tooth and nail to keep the prices high and unaffordable in order to line the pockets of investors.
Are investors idiots? He's just going to change his mind again in three days
Keep those counter tarriffs, fuck Trump let him know he can't just make silly threats and then change his mind
I don't know, to me a * b * c is basically just the exact same as a • b • c but just easier to type on a computer. If you were writing it down on paper or a black board they would probably use dots. Coding often uses * because who wants to type in those dots would be a pain in the ass and the * basically looks the closest to a dot.
Why is that a problem? It gets rid of bias and would actually help minorities defeat bias in the court and get a more fair judgement.
Yeah honestly I don't see a problem with this. If it's his own words why does it matter if it's AI speaking or himself? Even if it's not his own words, he could just as easily say the same shit on camera, why does the person in the video needs to be him?
That depends on there still being elections
