6 months ago I would have said great idea.
Now, ICE agents have been verified by the government to have "absolute immunity", and have shown that they have no problem shooting American citizens.
There are a ton of things you can do that don't involve putting innocent people's lives at risk just to "screw around" with ICE.
If you actually want to be proactive, read the Simple Sabotage Manual or Carlos Marighella's Mini-Manual for the Urban Guerilla.
So join ICE and starting shooting american ICE officers. You have immunity to kill US citizens apparently if you do so might as well use it for good

The fear instilled in half these commenters really shows how effective this domestic terrorism from ICE really is (unfortunately)

Possibly, and you could possibly be injured while being arrested and then charged with committing some crime along the lines of interfering with law enforcement.
The actual way to fight immigration enforcement is to convince your neighbors that immigrants aren’t hurting them.

Best risk-free option to screw with ICE is take a page from Schlock Mercenary. Help people know where ICE agents are going to be, so they can arrange to not be there.
Start or join one of those LoRa mesh networking groups, and feed them info on ICE activity.

This is the real winner. Changing culture from the outside is way harder than on the inside, let alone collecting evidence of crimes committed by other gang members.

You're not wrong! Surely there are enough s******l anti-ICE people among us who'd be up to the task. They'd be heroes. Martyrs. As long as they keep the score even, take at least one out with 'em as they go.
Go to the political party of your choice's monthly meeting. Each party/state has slightly differen't rules, but the major parties have a local chapter in every state. Speak up when the chance is offered / on topic (it won't be everytime). This is where you learn who is planning on running before they announce - in enough detail to have an informed opinion on if they are good. that is where you go to find out how to help those who are running win.
everything else is noise that won't change much. Get good people elected. Knocking on every door will turn out enough votes toechange election results in your area.
don't fall for one party good. all are badin different ways. Find one that mostly you can support and reform it. Small issue voteres who get involved change how the party acts (in part by ensuring people who agree are on the ballot, in part because those who do the work get long conversations with the people they support - thus changing how congress thinks).
