Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

It's no different to the Internet archive. They need to update their strategy for the threat of fascism and make it essentially impossible to destroy as long as people have PC's connected to the internet.
They need to decentralize operations with a distributed P2P protocol, redistribute their own servers across multiple jurisdictions, and allow individuals to donate resources for additional support/redundancy (as part of the P2P protocol).

Now this is an interesting idea! We have more computing power and bandwith at our homes than ever before, and use only a fraction of it.
I would happily support Wikipedia, openmaps and other projects by seeding their data.
In could even be more fun and motivating to do, since you could see how you are making a difference in real time, as opposed to donations.
And in the short term at least move to Europe.

Wikipedia and all their damn propaganda spreadin! Why can't you be more like the good nonprofits that never spread any sort of propaganda you know like the NRA.
Also the Southern Baptist church which wasn't founded to spread the good news about God demanding white people keep brown people as slaves, which now means you need to donate enough money so your pastor can buy the newest private jet.
