Conservatives are obsessed with fascism.

Martinez told Prokopas he planned to report the incident to the Miccosukee Police Department because the detention center sits on tribal land.

Later that day, he returned to the facility after Miccosukee police told him the matter was outside their jurisdiction.

“He told me to keep the patch. I told him ‘no, it’s okay,’” Prokopas said. “He insisted and said he had plenty.”

When Martinez returned, she said, he was wearing another of the same patch on his shoulder.

...

“I was paying attention to everything, and I noticed it,” he said, noting that guards sometimes removed and reattached the patches. “They had it attached to their shoulder. They had more than one type, but the one that impacted me the most was that one… It made me feel like I was bound to die.”

Nazi level shit.

If anyone said this to them, they'd probably take it as a compliment.

I'd you've got skulls on your patches, you might just be the baddies.

Americans should storm the camps and free the hostages. This is what 2A is for.

Edit: I know, I know, just let me say it

It looks cool i have to admit, just like illegal aliens sounds scary. I could even come to think it's great that the people that guard the "worst of the worst" take their job this serious. But then i think of who the facility they call Alligator Alcatraz is for, and why those people are put there, and suddenly i think of how cool these patches are as well:

Nazi Waffen SS Patches

The Totenkoph is popular among fascists the world over.

From Mussolini's Black Brigades and the British Royal Air Force to both the Azov Battalions and the Wagner Group to the Punisher Logo that American fascists love so much.

Why is the background the state of Texas?

It may have been "designed" by this guy, who seems to be from San Antonio. He seems like a peach among peaches.

Visibly upset, Martinez told Prokopas that he previously worked for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office in Texas. He said he had just been discharged from Critical Response Strategies, the private contractor that provides security at the detention center, after a physical altercation with another guard inside the facility.
