ds from the gas generators internal to the Data Castle complex. LLM cameras are everywhere, even attached to trees, but they can't detect us because we have detection-jamming makeup and Russian dashcam video dimly playing on our fiberoptic stealth clothing. We're detected as traffic. The main entrance is a giant red telescoping bridge in front, but our entrance is via grappling along the suspended datalines. They're supposed to send a shock via the coaxial layer at randomized intervals but an informant gave us the generation tables so we've worked out this 13.2 minute safe period.
It's hard to think because of the constant stream of LLMslop advertisements that are projected onto the walls of the Data Castle. The light is so bright, especially at night, and the array of directed-sound cannons, even though it can't lock onto us, can still occasionally hit us in their target search patterns. Every so often you hear a bit of commercial take over all of your hearing. Your desire for a Switch 2 has gone up.
Half of our 13-person pack has made it across the datalines. Six are still making their way across. They have 2 minutes left. We've never seen inside the Data Castle before but from a few low-resolution recon drone videos before they got shot done. Inside the walls, the main building looks like a fallen monolith: a grey cylindrical slab set inside a small courtyard that encircles it. The roof is slightly angled and on the raised end is a giant exhaust pipes for the gas plant.
We're standing on the edge of this grey cylinder, it's very slick to the foot. And the hum of the billions of hard drives operating inside induces a mild queasiness in us.
We need to grapple down to a window, open or not, and penetrate the complex. We've carried bombs with us to plant at the water pump, the power generation portion, and for evacuation, but don't know where exactly to do it. We spot patrols of Teslabots (humans in 3D-printed costumes to look like robots) down in the courtyard. We can assume there will be more of them inside.
We slide down and find an open window. At first we thought it was more gas exhaust coming out of it but it's actually steam. It appears to be a locker room. In order to blend in we need to undress. I refuse and blow the mission.
