Good strat, trails are not businesses so lowering their average rating doesn't harm anyone - will just lead to less people there so you can enjoy it more lol

What is wrong with my reviews??

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 8 points 1 day ago

Reviewer one was obviously a geology major.

I can't believe they're just leaving the sticks there. That's just asking for people to take some as imaginary swords and such!

As long as they are raking the leaves, like in Finnish forests.

"The trees are too tall..." LMAO. What is an acceptable height?

[–] Tja@programming.dev 8 points 1 day ago

About tree fiddy?

People get all bent out of shape if you're over 6'2"

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago

Within reason, obviously.

Got lost and had to eat my hiking partner to survive. Do not recommend.

I’m interested in how the rocks taste

[–] Akasazh@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I'm convinced that at least that one is sarcastic, looking fun at the other reviews.

i was once visiting a salt mine, the rocks there did taste good

[–] lath@piefed.social 7 points 2 days ago

Tastefully salty since you're supposed to suck out water out of them.

Different trails in the same area... Are all these from the same person?

I saw pictures of the park online and the trees were so beautiful and green. Colorful flowers everywhere. Came here with my partner on Valentine's day and it was all dead. Wtf happened? 2 stars. Nice benches though.

I've been to a fair few forest walking trail type things, and I think there's only one I could consider giving a negative review to, and that's mainly cause I could hardly find how to get on it, lol. Mind you, it was also dark, so maybe during daytime the entrance was more obvious, but I got to the signpost/information board for the start of the trail and walked around the clearing for like 15 mins not seeing where it continues. I did eventually get on it.. the walk was fine other than the 10,000,000,000 mosquitoes.. if I ever go back, I'll remember bug spray

(one of the 2 times I got "lost" looking for a nice nature walk. But the other one was really the fault of google maps (and also funnily both were on the same day)).

Tell me a story about the US without telling me it's a story about the US.
