Anyone who has a problem with bike lanes should just kill themselves and save the rest of us from their dumbassery. Duffy is another waste of skin.

Every time you see the term "DEI" or "woke" or whatever, just imagine it's some loser fucking dude from the mid 2000s in a sweat stained Tapout t-shirt and substitute the terms with "gay and retarded" and it'll make just as much sense, if not more. That's ultimately the essence of those terms anyways. The only difference is that with the term "DEI" they get to posture as a serious person with an actual point that deserves to be taken seriously. Bike lanes are gay. Caring about the environment is gay. Anti-hazing policy in the military is retarded. Etc. Etc.

Its a DEI bike lane because you didn't earn it. You earn a lane by taking on $80,000 in debt to buy a F350.

He's going to regret not having bike lanes when Trump restarts war with Iran, and this time without strategic oil reserve.

Tangent, but is "bikers" the right word? I use bicyclists or cyclists or bike riders for people who pedal. To me "bikers" ride motorcycles, which means they use the car lanes and burn fuel, although their individual politics might be DEI.

Could just be me, though.

yeah you just redirected it into your pockets you fucking crooks

Any time you see a politician ranting about DEI, replace it in your mind with the n-word. That’s what they’re really saying. No, it doesn’t matter that people of any race can use it; Republicans have spent the past 6 decades cementing the idea of public projects and vilified racial minorities being inherently linked.

Tf is Boot-edge-edge? I can't keep up with idiot name calling conventions.

[–] quylaa@lemmy.ml 19 points 2 hours ago

Buttigieg.

It took me way too long to figure that out.

[–] decolo@piefed.social 8 points 2 hours ago

It’s called a bi-cycle for a reason ;)

The lanes were made out of black tops!

[–] eager_eagle@lemmy.world 29 points 3 hours ago

he sounds like an edgy teenager and he's in control of billions in tax money. I miss a world without xitter.

It's all in-group pandering and shitty petro-masculinity. No conservatives should be in power. They are bad people.

[–] CADmonkey@lemmy.world 1 points 45 minutes ago

petro-masculinity

That's a new term for me, thanks. Been seeing a lot of that recently, and I had a thought: my EV and solar panels aren't just about the environment, they're independence. I can make a kilowatt-hour with stuff I have at home. I cannot make a gallon of gasoline with stuff I have at home.

Diversity of transport modes

Equity in infrastructure quality

Inclusion in transportation planning

Support our pollutionarily-challenged cyclist friends! Not everyone is able to make a mess of the environment equally!

[–] CADmonkey@lemmy.world 2 points 44 minutes ago

Maybe if they really, really oil their chain a whole lot?

[–] TheHotze@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

My bad. *Un-ADHDs my brain. Reenables my autobiographical memory. Activates my visual imagination.

Can I have my bike lane now?

[–] ccunning@lemmy.world 10 points 3 hours ago

Commas are WOKE commie!

[–] tonytins@pawb.social 8 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

I just redirected $1.73 billion in USDOT grants away from Biden-era DEI pet projects

To where? The war?

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 6 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

It's because they're too LGB(iciclyst)T[...]-friendly.

[–] culprit@lemmy.ml 9 points 3 hours ago

Ya, I'm bi(cyclist). I'm also down with multi-modal trans(portation).
