This is pretty similar to Beanie Babies, but not Pokemon or Pog because you could play with those. Beanie Babies were popular for some reason (right place right time? Brilliant viral marketing?) and then became an investment opportunity. Same with Labubu. I've always seen talk about how much they're worth, and the blind box adds a bit of gambling to it, which I guess is similar to opening a pack if cards.

I see this sort of thing all the time. Construction crew shows up and blocks the bike lane. Cars get pylons and flag crews, but bikes get either grass/sidewalk or merge with traffic. And if you choose either you have to be very careful that you don't get creamed.
In The Rock, I didn't see him as being cool at all. Just a guy trying really hard to get his job done in a place he really doesn't belong.
