Syncthing has public relays enabling it to work (dunno if one or none need to be public) without both parties being exposed.

For the first time I configured ssh with pubkey auth.
Auth between windows (agent) and alpine (host) to use as a helper/backup proxy in veeam (helper is used to mount file level restore assistant)
Took me 3 hours to find out that
Windows didnt know the private key
Pubkey auth wasnt active
Fucked up pubkey auth
Alpine isnt supported by Veeam so it didnt work
Needed to install a small debian VM.

:|
At least I did my first pubkey auth setup.

Is it an app I should be able to just find in my installed apps or do I need to enable it?
Because as of now (Pixel 7, Android 15) I can only find Termux.

You ask for a "why deploy this [software]" in this community?

Anyway...Simply: Why not? =)

What I am missing is ESXi/vSphere. Would be quite important for the few people that have access to the eval ressources to set it up.
Same for the BSD versions. I think Beehive?

For each update? I'd be the one with funding issues if I'd do that :D

Yeah the 1€ per year was a typo ;) Fixed that

12€ (I believe) is way too much to using it maybe once every week for private use.
If it was something like Bitwarden where it's around 10€ per year I would be totally up to paying it

Can't imagine what the web is like outside of ublock origin...
The few websites I see on pcs by clients are essentially state backed so they don't have ads as well.

Scary world I am not eager to experience.
