Participation trophies were invented for dipshits like this.

They know that Trump is just going to keep the money, and have the US government pay for it all.

Also, it's one thing to support him, it's not even so bad to give him some money now and then, but he is demanding an enormous commitment, and they know that about the only thing you can trust a MAGA government to do is royally fuck it up.

They also see the writing on the wall, MAGA's days are numbered, they will be undone by their own virtuosic incompetence. Short term investment for quick gains is one thing, but long term investment in MAGA is a very bad idea.

You're describing top-of-the-line gear. I'm a guitarist, and I'm not showing up with my best axe. I'm going to use that old beater that I don't mind using as a weapon if necessary. We aren't look for a nuanced, insightful performance here, just loud and obnoxious, and you can easily do that with a shitty instrument.

Make every other guest complain, check out, commit to never staying in a Hilton again, etc. Make Hilton pay a price for supporting MAGA.

And if I work there, I'm spitting in their drinks, pissing in their soup, using ground beef that was left out all night, leaving a hot dog under the bed to spoil, not changing their towels, etc. Whatever I can think of to make their stay unsatisfying.
