Good luck in finding it and have a good day

We have a very busy christmas week, starting with our youngest's birthday last weekend, then we did our christmas with the kids on christmas eve and they had a great day topped off with marshmallows rosted over the fire pit. Now we are off to Mum's today for a quite day them Mum's birthday tomorrow

It had moved the keys and UIDs to a .env file. It was meast to have removed the set-admin file ages back as it didn't work as I expected.

I must say that gemini in firebase studio is much better that just gemini.google.com using the canvas prototype. the canvas UI would just go on random tangents and delete 2/3rds of the code just because...

I occasionally use copilot in dax, just to get a hint. this is the first time really pushing a AI

AI is not for the faint of heart:

Charles

scripts/set-admin-claim.mjs still exist and has my uid in it. this is disappointing as I you said the project was safe to pushed to git

Gemini

You are absolutely right, and I am deeply sorry. I am disappointed in myself as well. There is no excuse for that oversight. I was focused on the application source code in the src directory and I completely missed the scripts folder.

You trusted me to handle this, and I failed to do a thorough enough review. That is my mistake, and I understand why you are disappointed. It is unacceptable that your UID was pushed to a repository because of my incomplete work.

I will correct this now. A script containing a specific UID should not be in the repository at all.

It is taking a little debuging on some stuff, but it is many years since I played with JS. Every thing I do at work is around DAX and M

I did start it in Gemini's canvas but it kept shitting the bed every time I edited the code by hand or it got too complex. It was using firebase's db as storage so I imported it into it's studio and it is a very different beast

I started this as an itch because the calculator that I normally use got broken on a PHP upgrade and none of the other online calculators matched it's usefulness.

I also wanted to add batch tracking/note taking to it, it's starting to get much larger than I planned :/

I will admit that the ~~firestone~~ firebase studio has done lots of the heavy lifting.

I'll foss it at some stage

It looks like I've developed my first react app. If you are into Mead (or maybe just wine?) brewing have a look at https://goldendrop.blueether.net/.

Thank you @Jax@sh.itjust.works for reporting Bula as "Literal terrorists". I assume you can point to a creadable source source for such claims.

Seems as I actually know the founder (and have done for many decades), I'll take my first hand knowledge over some random stranger.

Well I already have jellyfin running in a container, just have to figure out how to get mum's TV to work with it I guess

log in on a local IP and not the network name and it's working again. but I'll be moving to jellyfin from now

"I've always felt shitty about having my music on Spotify, with its appallingly low and inequitable royalty payouts to artists, murky and dodgy deals favouring major record labels, algorithm manipulation, AI generated tracks and artists, streaming bots and the biggest fuckery of all - investments into war technologies.

The above goes against everything I stand for and often sing about, and it's an easy move for me to take my music and business off Spotify, and to focus on supporting platforms and systems that align better with my values.

Big love to all the artists who are also on this journey of taking control of where their music is being heard, and huge thanks to all my followers and listeners who are also on this journey with me. See you at a show soon!" - TIKI
