Is bullshit. They're expanding it. I was in the Orlando airport a few months ago waiting in the long ass TSA lines while Clear employees went to everyone in line offering a free trial and "you don't have to wait in this line." It's fucking insane that the government can create these delays with the TSA and then goad people into signing up for an expensive service with a private company to bypass the very problem that they created. Says a lot about the "security" too when you can just skip it by ponying up a little bit of cash.

I can't answer your question as I rely on Plex rather than fooling around with my own security, but I'd suggest reconsidering the Pi and a microSD to host Jellyfin. Neither one of these are a good fit unless you plan on sticking to very specific audio and video codecs to avoid all transcoding and your upload speeds are capable of serving the full bitrate of your files. Beyond that, SD cards are terrible for this kind of task and you'd be much better served with an SSD as your boot/data drive for robustness. I can't even count the number of failed SD cards I've had over the years.

I got a STEM degree that didn't require any financial classes. I learned all that on my own once I started making adult money at nearly 30. I see (quite a lot of) others in my same boat who didn't bother and are making six figures while living paycheck to paycheck still. The last round of layoffs were quite a shock to these people.
