Feel free to keep letting me ratio you then 👍
Also, pretty sure you're referring to me talking about the USSR, not the DPRK, so you can't even get your talking points straight.

Thank you, I certainly needed a refresher on the Freikorps. I greatly admire the work you do, it's a tremendous resource for us all.
Damn right. Socialism or barbarism, either we break the cycle and move on to a better world, or Capital will happily kill us when it needs.
You got me, it's me, the tankie. I just love tanks, and I just love tankin'.

The large majority of the population of post-Soviet states regret the dissolution of Socialism. Meanwhile, over 90% of Chinese citizens approve of their government, and are increadingly happy with the direction the country is heading in:
So no, this isn't fantasy. I've actually done the effort to dig into these systems critically, rather than just accept the standard Red Scare narrative.
Secondly, PSL is a revolutionary party, it outlines that on their party program:
While reforms must be fought for, and can be won, they are under constant attack by the ruling class. Capitalism itself cannot be reformed. Its supreme law and driving force is the maximization of profit. The only force capable of putting an end to this criminal system is the organized working class. Capitalism cannot be voted out of power—it will take a revolution. The capitalist class will stop at nothing to prevent or overturn reforms by repressing, misdirecting or quelling any form of popular rebellion. Without a complete uprooting of the system that causes all the problems workers and oppressed peoples face, exploitation and oppression will still exist. The capitalist state will continue to rule.
Would it kill you to do the barest research on anything you talk about?
Social Democracy is the twin of fascism. Both arise as mechanisms to defend against the decay of Capitalism, the former through bribery, the latter through brutality.
In my opinion, it depends on if the country is Imperialist, or Imperialized. If the Social Democratic movement in an Imperialized country is a national liberation movement, and thus moves against Imperialism, it should be supported. Socialism should still be supported over Social Democracy, but critical support for Capitalist countries fighting against Imperialism is important as Imperialism is the primary contradiction.
In the Imperial core, both should be firmly opposed. Social Democracy may be preferable over fascism, but both perpetuate Imperialism and thus both are to be opposed. Both will root out Communism if it poses a threat, with equal or near equal vigor.
Nothing you've said is backed by data, though. His actions regarding trying to restart USian industry as a reaction to the PRC playing the long game and winning by focusing on building up industry shows just how fragile financialized Capital is in the face of actual productive forces. His ego plays a part in his own actions, sure, but the reason he was even backed in the first place is because Capital wants him, or Kamala. It's not a grand, unopposed system to turn him into a king, this reaks of idealist analysis and removes us from Materialism.
I don't have a problem with a Communist doing the same, I have a problem with the suggestion that it's even possible. The system allows Trump to do what he wants because Capital wants him to. In countries where Leftists have won electorally, such as Chile or Burkina Faso, coups and millitary overthrows occur and go against the will of the people, favoring Capital instead.
Enjoy your dab, though!
It happens through working class organization, building support, protesting, and creating an organized movement, like what PSL is doing, and what other revolutionary groups have done throughout history in places like Russia, Cuba, China, etc.
Welcome, comrade! And thanks for the Brazillian perspective, it's funny to hear people "slander" Lula as a Communist, I wish that was true as well. As a spooky scary Communist myself, I hope I live to see the US Empire fall, even as a citizen of it.
We can't have a Leftist version of Trump because Trump is an agent of Capital and thus representing Capital's interests. Do you think he's some kind of force of nature outside the scope of the system set in place to protect itself?
You're so close.
If you only allow yourself to work within the system specifically designed to not change, you will never get change. The only way to get change is organizing.
Rhetorically and factually trounce, then? Destroy, in the marketplace of ideas? What term would you prefer to describe your use as a springboard for me to bounce pro-Marxist ideas off of?
