I don’t really feel very good about judging people subjectively based on their beliefs or culture. Like I get it, but I hate giving people excuses for being objectively garbage and bad for society.

I get the whole exclusionary thing. But why the fuck are we pretending that adding to an imperialist powers army is a good thing? Like yeah, I get it. Equal opportunity no matter what your lifestyle or birthrights are, but if this weakens US hegemony because they are removing qualified people?
