I swear I've tried like 5 times to delete Reddit for good, but I always and up going back after a couple of months because I miss the webms, gifs, and story posts.
I know that Lemmy seems to have some character restriction that prevents super long story posts (which I think they've increased the limit a bit?) and I can scratch the itch with creepy pasta, manga, or SCP archives, but why does Lemmy have such a prominent lack of gifs and webms?
All of the gif-centric communities are dead and I know that there's no restriction to that type of content, so am I just missing something? If you're not seeing it here, then where do you guys watch gifs and webms?
Dude at least they attempted to scoop it out. My better half cuts it in half and SQUEEZES it out because she's decided it's better/easier than cutting it out properly. Now I walk into the kitchen and find the mutilated remains of our avocados.
