At today's market price that'd be $305,000. Not as much as I was expecting. Google says there's approximately 62,000LBS of copper in the statue.

What I understood from it was he was trying to say, "we work hard every damn day." But he realized he didn't want to say damn at the last second and kinda mushed it into some folksy word salad.
